Review on HYS TCJ N1 Bracket Fender Antenna by Sam Hansen

Use this in addition to my GMC Safari for 50-54MHz NMO 1/4 wave (53in high). He's well built. The connectors under the NMO where the coaxial cable attaches are slightly smaller than usual, making installation much easier than the regular ones which require a 3/4" hole. Still, the design is decent, including a very nice mount that integrates into a solid mount. I will be ordering more for my spares box. Make sure your NMO antenna has a spring loaded button contact and not a flat contact like the cheaper models! Look at the picture to see what kind of antenna base you need to look for. KG0WX
