Review on STEEL MATE Pressure Monitoring System by Matt Kim

I had a puncture on the Autobahn because one of my tires was under-inflated and the sidewall ring blew completely. So I never want to unknowingly ride with a low or flat tire ever again. So I bought it on recommendation. I like it. It looks good, small and unobtrusive, solar powered, easy to install and set up. However, the pressure readings vary within 5 pounds depending on what I know. Ambient temperature, time of day, tire temperature, road temperature, I don't know why. But otherwise it works fine. I like the internal sensor better than the external one. Looks better and feels safer. The only problem I have with them is when I have to rotate the tires I have to take all the tires off the rims to rotate them to keep the rims in the same place because those sensors are specific to the placement of each Rads on the wheel are .
