Great shorts!
I order these shorts for sports and only on weekends. My thighs are thicker and tend to chafe, so that was a solution too. I'm 5'2 with an athletic build - I ordered the large. They fit perfectly. I even got a few compliments on her. The length is just above the knee. They don't ride up and are very comfortable, like wearing yoga pants. The wide waistband fits perfectly and does not roll up. I'll probably order a few more.
