I was initially very hesitant to buy this because of a) lots of glass in the mail, b) few reviews from Revain and c) a strange " Review" on YouTube video. I went ahead and took a chance as I needed a front opening tank for the new Lizard. Pros: The package arrived a day early so it was amazing. It was pretty easy to put together and the end product looks so good - a really nice looking tank. It's strong/sturdy, easily accessible from the front and top, and I love that it can be taken apart at some point if needed. It looks like some of the negative reviews are due to people not reading the instructions (or watching the assembly videos) - specifically for the chord run. You need to examine the photos here carefully - each model has a different side configuration (glass and screen). Cons: Not really a downside for the product, but the shipping box made me fear the worst - there was a huge hole in the box. aside and generally looked as if it had been abandoned. But I was amazed when I opened the outer boxes (two) to find an intact tank/jar. However, shipping damage caused some of the styrofoam inserts to crack, leaving the tank covered in nasty little white balls. I sucked them out with a vacuum hose and everything is fine. The biggest downside, to be honest, was the plastic wrap used on the glass panels - it seemed impossible to remove and took the most effort to install. Another flaw, one of the doors had a small tear at the top and I believe one of the screen cover clips is broken. It's still fully functional and beautiful, but it's always frustrating to receive something new with imperfections/damage. I will update this part after contacting customer service. Edit: Customer service was very responsive and quickly sent a replacement door and top which arrived today. Overall I'm very happy with it and wish more people would take the chance to order it and leave some reviews. I think many people will like this as an alternative to others on the market.
