We used to have other pizza cutters like this but they broke and weren't the best design and always ended up throwing it all in the washing machine although actually only the blade was dirty but grease has arrived everywhere. I love Joseph and Joseph stuff so thought this would be a great replacement but the blade is relatively dull compared to others. Only half of the blade is fully covered at all times. Due to the open handle part, the blade can get dusty during storage. The blade itself is sometimes difficult to remove for cleaning, also due to the fact that the blade body does not open. If cheese or something else gets caught on the blade and manages to get into the handle, it'll stay there forever. We also had issues with grease getting into the blade cover after covering the blade after using it to slice pizza. I had to soak everything in lots of soap to clean it and it just hurt. I liked the old one that didn't need to be washed right away. Unfortunately disappointed. I really wanted to be liked.
