Presented as a birthday present and fully assembled. I had to buy 5 washers to make it almost tight, constantly hanging. The position of the mirror should stay in place after tightening from the back, but the point is you can get any tool out because the mirror mount gets in the way. I would return it but my mom bought it in October.
