They are made of almost the same material as the carpet you put under your office chair so you don't soil your floor. They're thin like these blankets and get quite stiff in the cold, but are generally more flexible. I put them in a 2013 Ford Explorer with a bench on the second row. I only needed a little trimming to get the second row to fit almost perfectly. The front seats are so-so - the driver's side doesn't fit a dead pedal very well, and the passenger side has to be awkwardly folded up to fit even after trimming. I haven't set up the third row and trunk yet, but plan to use the rear mat as two separate pieces. I cut out a rectangular area of the mat for the third row and then use the diamond patterned area for the truck bed. You could definitely cover the folded third row very well if you kept the rug in one piece. For the price I don't think they could be better. I could go to Costco but not get a consistent second row or charge mat. I might get some nice tights for the front in the future, but that should be pretty good for a while.
