Made for Happy Riding Season

I wanted to add Bluetooth to my existing helmet but didn't want to spend a few hundred dollars so I rolled the Lexin. And I'm very glad I did, I have no complaints and it was a nice addition to my ski season! - Easy enough to clip to your helmet (I used the included clip that clips to the side of the helmet), I will encourage someone to check speaker placement and adjust if necessary. At first I thought I had a good position on the speakers, but after a few hours of driving I found that the speaker's light physical touch with the cartilage of my ear went from barely noticeable to downright painful after 3 or 4 hours of driving. I had to put the speakers on the curb. Back at home, I moved the speakers gently (probably just a fraction of an inch) and found that they didn't touch my ear at all, and the overall sense of volume was also increased (compared to having to keep the volume up all the time). Sound Now, to sound reasonable, only a maximum volume of 75% is usually required - the overall sound quality is good for music and calls. I find that I have never used this device to pair with another, I usually travel alone so only bought it to listen to music on longer trips. So I can't talk about the ability of units to mate and stay in touch. But for phone calls and music it works well. I have a full face helmet and found the sound quality of the music to be pretty good. I have no doubt that more expensive devices have better sound quality. But I doubt that the quality in this area is 2-3 times better than Lexin, so I will save my money. Phone calls are clear and my voice always sounds good to the person I'm talking to, even at high speeds. A friend said "Looks like you're only talking on the speakerphone" - the battery life is at least 8 hours. My longer day trips have exceeded this window and I usually listen to music at around 50-75% volume most of the time and never turn off the device for a low battery. So in most reasonable cases, you should be able to ride a Lexin device all day and only need to charge it overnight if you're going for a long bike ride.
