This is a great little mat. I have used it in my boat's bilge to keep objects such as anchors and other objects out of the bilge water and also to prevent these objects from hitting my hull. These are flexible "rubber" mats with channels that allow water to flow under the mat. They conform to the curvature of the hull in the bilge and provide a good slight rise above the bilge gutter. I ordered two of these and plan to order two more.
