Be sure to tighten these brackets well!

Any comments about them being LOUD are not a joke. At first I thought they were really too loud, but once I was on the street I really liked it. Here's my problem, when I came back after about an hour of driving, a spike fell off. I have no idea when I lost it. Felt like I cranked the brackets given below pretty well. It might be worth adding a lock washer or something to really secure it. Or use original factory brackets. But I think they are amazing in terms of security. People will definitely hear you when they don't see you. I wonder how long it will be before my neighbors complain or come and scoff at that loud $$ MF'er.
