Review on Premium Non-Stick 12-Cavity Bar Baking Pan by Wilton, Crafted from Steel with Perfect Results by Pao Novakovic

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Brownie pan and premium pan are very similar, both are not fully non-stick

I have now tried two Wilton brownie pans. There are three on the list and the prices keep going up and down so it's hard for me to explain which is which, but the Perfect Results Brownie Pan and Premium Nonstick Bakeware are two of the things that I've tried. The one that costs more and is listed as "nonstick" might actually be the same pan as the cheapest, but I didn't buy it and I'm not sure. When I bought it, the Brownie Bar pan was about a dollar cheaper than the Premium pan, but today I think it's even slightly higher. To be honest, I find both pans very similar. The brownie bar doesn't have the word "nonstick" in its name, but Revain's description does say "nonstick." I added a bit of butter to each brownie before filling as I worked, and in neither case did the brownies come out without problems, but the Premium required less vigorous coaxing with a thin, offset spatula. Interestingly, brownies tend not to shrink in the hole, which I think is one of the reasons they don't slide out as easily. After all, the premium pan was about a dollar more expensive, but it's a little narrower around the edges than the other one so it fit my toaster better and *might* have a little better non-stick coating, so that's it. I decided to keep it.

Pros
  • Expensive but decent
Cons
  • Nothing
