I recently bought a Flir C3-X to replace my old C2 model. While you need to set up an online flir account, it makes file transfers painless as long as you have Wi-Fi to go with. Anyway, a USB cable is included. View, edit, upload your photos anywhere, pay nothing. If you use the online software Flir Ignite you have to agree to about two requirements, pretty standard, nothing crazy like the others described for the C5 series. The recommended warm-up time is about 5 minutes after turning it on, but this unit is pretty quick and a lot faster than my old C2. Yes, you own your photos too, read the fine print! I am a home inspector and use my thermal imaging cameras a lot. Perfect size, reasonable price for a branded thermal camera, image quality is great for my use of the device. The touchscreen options have what you need, you can even edit photos right on the camera and add names and locations to each photo. The product also came with a case, a durable strap, a USB cable, and a 3-month trial of the Flir Thermal Studio, which differs from the Flir Ignite mentioned above. Seems to be for those who need to do a lot more with heat images like heat reports in flir templates. Received my order the next day, well packaged, box and device intact. I would recommend this as my second C-Series thermal scope.
