This watch is __useless__ right out of the box. Why? NO POWER CORD in box. EPIC MISTAKE! This wouldn't be an issue if the power connector on the clock was a standard micro-USB or even mini-USB (I got those cables tangled in my desk drawer somewhere) - NO! The power connector on the clock is a tiny round DC plug. It was a small miracle that I found a USB cable that fitted the round plug exactly, otherwise I would have sent this item back the same day it arrived! See, it's not the fact that it's a round power connector that bothers me, it's the fact that they didn't include a cable that would have cost them pennies, OR better yet, a more common power connector like Have used Micro or Mini . USB. Minus 3 stars because it's just stupid! That intriguing issue aside, the device feels pretty cheap - the plastic *feels* flimsy in the hand, for example. The keys are clicky enough, but they don't feel very secure either. The projector rotates and the projection can be rotated 90 degrees at a time. I didn't see any way to adjust the focus on the projection, but it was clear enough. Minus another star for cheapness, plus one star for projection. YES, there are 4 levels of brightness on the main display BUT the darkest setting is still too bright for a really dark room. Similarly, projection has High or Low or Off…. BUT I couldn't get the device to show the projection on Low and the main display on Off. If I turn off the main display and then put the projector in low mode, the main display turns back on! Another star minus. In terms of usability, setting the time and alarm is pretty easy. The radio reception was bad for me, but that is probably due to the location and my city. The display is easy to read, if a bit too bright. The projection is legible and can be rotated…. So plus a few stars I guess. I can't comment on the durability or accuracy of this device... I don't have very high expectations but I would like to see how long it lasts. Summary: NO POWER CORD in the box - if you don't have the right cord, it's __useless__ out of the box! Otherwise it's hours. It seems to work. It comes with a coin backup battery. Brightness is adjustable. Setting the time and alarm is easy. It seems pretty cheap. I would suggest spending a few euros more to get something better.
