Seems like a great product but I don't know yet. Before purchasing this product, I checked the manufacturer's website and it turned out that they have quite a bit of tech support. They even had links to YouTube tutorial videos etc. The videos were made by Avital's parent company, which also owns Viper and several other brands, the videos talk about vehicle specific wiring diagrams and other technical support resources. I bought two of these devices and was hoping to install them myself. After buying the parts I tried to get the wiring diagrams for my car. I couldn't access the tech support websites so I called the company. I was told that they would not in any way provide me with technical support or wiring diagrams for a specific vehicle. So I find an installer and pay him to install it.
