An observation of sorts. The smartphone is intentionally designed to be cumbersome, with a glass rear panel that shows every fingerprint (the device is black) and is extremely slippery. The device is just the kind of sturdy middle-class commoner—a reliable workhorse—that I was looking for. Users accustomed to flagships may be dissatisfied with the new version. Nonetheless, when compared to other models in the same price range, it's an obvious pick.
