I'm really only posting this because the first one I had broke and I want to save someone else the headache. Noyafa's official Youtube video shows a patch cord test connecting two RJ45 connectors on the top of the device. On the NF-388, the video ports are called Loopback and Main. The two units I received have the main and port flashes on top. If the manual was written by someone who speaks English, it would be a lot easier to understand. So I turned to Youtube. If you want to test the patch cord, connect it to Main at the top and to RJ45 Scan at the side. For the price, this block is unbeatable. I have a Microtest micro scanner that I lost all the far ends to. This device cost about $300 20 years ago. Manufactured by Fluke. This thing does everything it did before and more. Can't comment on durability, but for something that comes from China it seems pretty well made. Comes with toner and batteries. Not bad.
