Difficult with portable monitors. You want something light and angelic, but you want something as beautiful as what comes with your laptop. But you don't want to pay the price of any other laptop. Enter the portable monitor. I think this is the fourth one I've tried and I still haven't found one that I'm completely happy with. Pros: USB-C and uses the SS USB-C connection. It works. Has decent brightness. It comes with auxiliary metal. Swivel stand (which is good because the built-in bullshit is) not-so-heavy body aluminum excellent build quality VESA mount (which is a pretty big plus as most laptops I've tried don't have this) Cons: I found the Der Monitor responds very slowly. You wouldn't want to play it. Poor color accuracy. I couldn't match my laptop's main screen and it was giving me a headache. The built-in kickstand is unusable. Difficult to turn due to connected cables. The problem for me is that the picture never looked quite right. The more I fiddled with the settings, the more frustrated I got. Maybe she'll come with a firmware update that will help the color. I doubt it, but given the flexibility of LCD panels, it should be possible to do better. I was really torn between three and four stars, which is a big gap for Revain. They really need to be 3 1/2 stars because four counts as a success and three counts as a failure. At least that's how the sellers interpret it. On the one hand it has a really nice aluminum stand, on the other hand it's not a touchscreen and I just can't help but describe the falsity of the image. And finally, I think because it's actually described as a gaming monitor, but it has such a slow response that I'm left with a last resort. If they called it a Microsoft Office monitor I would have picked a 4. I'd definitely give it a 3 1/2, but a 4 rating seems like confirmation and I think there's a better choice for the money.
