Update 3/24/17: It rained recently, not quite heavy but not light rain either. It only lasted about 40 minutes and I noticed water on my saddlebags, seat and some headlights. It still works better than what I bought at Walmart and was cheaper. You get what you pay for but if you need something more waterproof I would look elsewhere. Original Rating: Finally found a case that isn't a giant stretchy toilet paper roll. It was not only cheap, but also very effective against heavy rain. (Maybe not a tornado or hurricane, heavy rain but enough for a thunderstorm) The only issue I had is that it is described as XL; but it barely fits my '01 Honda Shadow Aero, which is a small cruiser at best. Nothing else fits. If it were a little bigger I would be a lot happier with it. Still a great case for the price. ($20 at the time of this review)
