I've just completed the upgrade to a 4K projector and noticed that my 50ft HDMI cable I went through got the ceiling led, does not support 4K handshake and failure. I've tried several 4k certified active HDMI cables or a 4k repeater that did the same. I then tried extending the 4k HDMI with a Cat 6 cable. As long as this was holding the HDMI signal, random lines appeared on the screen. That's why I chose an HDMI fiber optic cable. I found HDMI fiber optic cables to have a big price difference and went with the cheaper one first. I chose the Bifale fiber optic cable based on the information they provided about the cable. Namely the ability to support 4K 60 4:2:2 10b HDR. I didn't see the CL2 review, but the seller answered a question about wall mounting. (Lack of specs almost made me look at a different cable) I plugged the cable between my Denon receiver and the projector before running it through the ceiling and found it to be a 4k 60Hz 10-bit 4.2.2 HDR could display image. without flights. I'm using an LG 4k Blu-ray connected through a Denon receiver and Optoma projector. I was a little apprehensive about running the fiber optic cable through the ceiling around the two bends I had, but there was no problem. The cable itself seems well made, but I wish the connector was more convenient. It seemed a bit cheap but does the job I need. I won't be touching the cable after everything is set up, so that shouldn't be a problem. This wire is an active directional wire, so route it in the right direction. I recommend this product.
