I moved the front fender liner forward about 2 inches by removing the tab and drilling through the bumper. On the back I used a heat gun to flatten the fender liner and cut off a piece with a knife. The original setup has multiple attachments with just these liner clips and in some places there is both a clip and a screw. If you move the earbud and want a more secure fit, you'll need to add screws on certain parts. The screws hold these clips securely in place.
