Bought this mic to use as my main Zoom mic as all my other mics had issues. The mic volume control and the mute button are handy. The sound quality is definitely good enough for a "talking voice" making it a great choice for Zoom. However, I would NOT make this my first choice for use on musical instruments or singing come in handy as an inexpensive backup mic. The included mini tripod is fine, but the 5/8" thread allows me to screw it straight onto a cheap mic stand: no separate mic clip is required, so the mic doesn't slip out and fall off.
