720 "normal " hours now this is a great airport turn signal
Claimed average lifespan of 15,000. Installed the light from dusk to dawn 2 months ago. It looked great. It's now flashing a little faster than once a second and is very bright. Sunset to sunrise = 12 hours a day x 60 days = 720 hours. So technically it hasn't burned down, but if you don't have a runway you want to mark at your airport, or really want to annoy or induce seizures at your next party, I would avoid this article.
