We bought the Minka-Aire fan on the recommendation of a friend. After reading the good and bad reviews we decided to buy it anyway and we are so glad we did! Shipping was exceptional, arrived on time and securely packaged. Easy to install and operate. The instructions are clear. Comes with blade guard gloves which are made of polymer resin and not cheap plastic. The blades look exactly like the description of the wooden blade design, but they are also light. Don't let that fool you, they're great at creating a breeze of your liking. With the remote control you can set 6 different speeds. Even at maximum speed there is no noise or vibration. In any situation, it is a very pleasant calm breeze. We love the elegant design and it's a nice attraction in our family room. We are very happy with our Minka-Aire ceiling fan. We are Minka Aire fans. Recommend this ceiling fan as an interesting addition to your room.
