I originally bought thicker cables of the same length but found them difficult to move. These cables are very thin and very flexible. The sound quality is the same as with my thicker cables. I'm not sure about the durability yet. I mainly use them for karaoke parties at home and at parties where friends order my gear so it doesn't get used often. The smaller cable makes it easier to transfer the microphone. I would recommend it for regular use. I don't use them for professional gigs, so I can't comment on that.
