Then here's the really crazy part: Thing X is attached to a round hard plastic drive.3. Take a Phillips screwdriver and unscrew the X from the base.4. Note the circled single-sided tape. Set aside 5. Take the measurements as in the video to place the unit level.6. Then insert/fix the round rubber disc into the hard plastic disc; Then screw the entire shebang to the wall with four screws (not included)7. Remove the paper from the round tape and place the sore side down on the round disk (to cover the holes aesthetically)8. Finally put the X on, align the center hole and the four small tabs under the X and screw in.9. That should work. Make sure you screw it in tight enough to secure BUT not so tight that you can't rotate from portrait to landscape. phew Now it took me a minute to figure it out.
