Solid product. Very happy with it. From all the bindings I've tried, I've learned quite a bit about my personal preference. 1) The item must have a self-adhesive backing. The glue can be replaced if it fails (haven't come across this yet) but suction cups fail much more often. Suction cups take up more real estate, ie not optimal for a vertical dashboard facing you. If you remember which states it's technically illegal to install windows in, the suction cups are starting to sag. 2) The item must have a screw cap as shown in the pictures here where you can tighten this swivel nut. down to hold the position in place. I've had several bindings that only have a sturdy neck, but one that twists and adjusts with enough effort. These wear out quickly. No thank you. I like when I can hold it tighter with my hand to keep it in the best possible position. This bracket has both elements. It's easy and economical. Very satisfied. Pro Tip - Think of it from a logical standpoint when installing. I installed mine, I felt great, thought I was a rock star engineer, oh yeah I'm amazing. Put your phone back, dude! you are a genius jason Pull the speaker down to place it in the drive and knock my phone out of the bracket. derp Luckily I had a lot of talcum powder on the mount when I carefully ripped it off the dash to install it in a more convenient spot, but it's important to pay attention to such things.
