These shoes have a lot more structure than the cheap shoes my daughter just outgrew. They sit well (extended). The faucet has a very pleasant sound, which I did not expect. I actually reluctantly chose them (because of the price) when I couldn't find my daughter's plus size in a cheaper brand. I thought all tap shoes were the same but these are so much better than my daughter's last pair.
