Pretty cheap, smells bad

These brake pads smell terrible. Like a chemical industrial smell. But how often are you going to smell your brake pads, right? But what makes her smell like that? This makes me suspect their durability and strength. They seem to work well, they don't stop the bike any better than the old pads I replaced. I will not order these again.
