I'm a dark-skinned, curly-haired man who's still looking for the perfect formula to keep me from the nagging razor irritation. The oil is very thick as I expected, but it doesn't lather that well. I quickly realized that I needed to use a decent amount of the product every shave (which I can't afford). In terms of comfort, it's a little better than what I'm currently using (Dr. Bronner's Peppermint Soap), but definitely not over the top. game changer. This brings a passing score. I keep the can to myself but don't think I'll refill it again, especially considering the high price. This is a good alternative to hairdressing formulas, but I'll keep looking. grade B-
