Very easy to use and high quality tool. I was a bit hesitant due to some negative reviews, but I took a risk as the negative reviews on something like this often boil down to people not understanding how to use the tool properly. Of course it is like that here. If it doesn't work right, you didn't do it right. My guess is that instead of pushing the rivet nut away from the tool through the thickness of the material the rivet nut penetrates, people screw the tool up to the rivet nut and then pull on the levers. This gives the tool more travel than intended. This excessive stroke can damage the threads of the rivet nut or tool. If you just consider the thickness of the material the rivet nut will penetrate and move your tool away from the rivet nut by that distance, I don't think you will ever have a problem with this tool. If my experience leads me to a different conclusion, I will update my review. But for those of you who are tech savvy and can do mechanical jobs quite easily, feel free to buy this tool. This will get the job done.
