I bought this collar for my 80lb Doberman, I've been using it for 1 week so far, I take it every evening for a run in a park that isn't supposed to be busy after sunset Sun so no lighting in a large area the only lighting comes from the moonlight so depending on the weather it can be very dark etc as I let my dog run at will it is very important to me that I don't lose sight of it, this collar lights up bright, it does exactly what I wanted, before buying I read reviews as much as you do and I have to agree to order a size conservatively, I ordered a medium size based on customer reviews and even that was a bit big for my dog and as stated above he is 80lbs, we walk about 1 hour every night and so far I have had the collar after his first L charge not recharged. did not lose brightness at all, very satisfied with this product
