This is the third charger I bought to try and revive some dead UPS batteries. The other two reported an error as soon as I connected it. Both claimed the same repair functionality. As soon as I connected the first battery I saw PUL on the screen and it fixed the battery. The END was written in the morning of the next day. I took it off and tested it with a battery load tester and it worked. Shows 13V from charger and 12.5V after load test. Then I connected the second battery and it also completed the repair cycle. I really recommend this charger if you are looking for something that will really fix a small battery. These little chargers weren't designed to charge a car battery, but more or less kept it running or charging it. It has insufficient power to charge or repair a dead car battery. However, it easily repairs a motorcycle battery or a UPS battery. Unlike others, I didn't even have to choose anything from the menu. Just connect the clamps to the battery and hang it on the wall and he knew immediately the batteries were dead and in need of repair. Great charger, especially for the price.
