After baking a few loaves of bread I couldn't figure out why my loaf wasn't rising properly. The only thing that made sense was that there wasn't enough yeast, I added 2 teaspoons of yeast per batch, but I kept getting a slight boost. I checked the amount of yeast with another spoon and found that this one was low in volume. I borrowed a high precision set from a neighbor and tested the set. The measure of Tsp is just 2/3 teaspoons and Tbl just under 3/4. Made a batch of bread with another scoop and it rose perfectly. Throw these away. The cheap plastic kit I bought from Wally World was very accurate in accuracy. live and learn
