My wife and I have tried several insect repellents. Either they didn't work at all, or the battery wasn't there when advertised, or it was bugged and nothing happened. Suffice to say it's been a horrible journey for us to find something that actually works. Let me tell you, this DAMN THING WORKS! Serious. Right out of the box, I turned it on, turned onto the front porch, and walked out the front door, and ZAP! dead mosquito. I was sitting at my desk and I saw a mosquito fly by and I reached out and grabbed it and waved it around and BITE! I also turned it on when my wife and I were watching our favorite shows and ZAP scared us to death, but it works. I like that it can be placed on a stand or hand carried and it works really well. This is definitely a better buy than any other item we've tried.
