At first I was excited about the updated MacBook Pro. I thought I saved a lot of money! About two weeks after receiving it, the computer accidentally restarted while watching YouTube, so I took advantage of the 90-day guarantee and sent it back. To be fair, a quick search on the subject shows Apple saying this behavior affects a "small number" of 2018 MacBook Pros, so it's probably not an issue with the update process. But that probably explains why I got a brand new computer at a bargain price. With a new 16-inch MacBook Pro on sale, I was able to get one with the same specs for just $300 more. I chose this so I have a manufacturer warranty and can add Apple Care if I want.
