Review on Under Armour Fleece Solid Hoodie by Terry Napoleon

Revainrating 5 out of 5

sizing is a bit odd but very comfortable

Very nice, warm, lightweight fabric. Thick, soft fleece on the inside, smooth synthetic material on the outside. It's stylish and VERY light, slightly heavier than some of my windbreakers. Good colors (I tried two) and fit. The body length is slightly longer for good coverage, the sleeves are slightly short with a slight elastic band to keep them over the arm. This is great when you're out with gloves outdoors, but also for indoor use. I hate, hate, hate those hooded sleeve designs that hang from your arm and get wet every time you use the sink. The downside is (unfortunately) a common downside of UA: Dimensions. It varies a lot from product to product so I will now be ordering 2 sizes to try in each new line. This sweatshirt has the "L" oddly narrow for inappropriate casual wear. I'm a medium to athletic male, 5ft 11" but I found it stretched a bit on the chest (in an unflattering way) but caught at my midsection and then spread out at the bottom. Anyone expecting taller with little belly fat? Thinner and less muscular? I can not say. It is normal to wear it casually and/or indoors. I left the size XL. I wish UA and other contemporary menswear designers would familiarize themselves with the brand, but I'm still very pleased with UA's technical fabrics—how they wear, how they breathe, and how they hold up to multiple washes. . So UA remains my brand.

Pros
  • Adjustable flip-over hood design
Cons
  • Wrinkled packaging
