This straight-forward doorbell system replaces a complex system in my house. The use of a wireless connection, makes it easy to plug plug the chime receiver into any home outlet and achieve optimal performance. The button was easy to install in the location of the previous system. There are four sound intensity levels and we found that level three meets our current needs. The fourth level provides a large drop in sound level; perhaps more suitable for a small apartments. It has 52 different sounds. There is no numbered list nor number feedback as you scan for your "favorite"; finding your favorite is a bit like searching for a needle in a haystack. But, the overall rating still deserves a five.
