It turned on and worked, today I checked it!
This item was sent to me on 06/16. billed and delivery took 2 days. I believe I was billed again in August when it actually shipped. Lol I don't know why they think I wanted to pay double the money and wait 2 months for the 2 day delivery but the second bill hasn't been returned yet! It doesn't help that Amazon support hung up after I asked if she was drunk! (She was drunk) so this is another request for a second bill refund! Also, the Coast Guard VHF radio is an emergency device, the people who order it plan to use it and it can be a matter of life or death and if we order it it's because we want it in a few days , not in months!
- It floats, meets the strictest IPX8 / JIS8 waterproofing standards and even cleans the speaker of water after it's been submerged. 6W transmit power, 6W, 2.5W or 1W transmit power at user's choice.
