Bought this bag for fun after age 52. I started with a leather bag from a big store. The bag was light but started to wear out after a few weeks. The Meister bag is my second bag and is of much higher quality. It seems a bit heavy compared to my first bag, but they actually weigh the same. The Master bag is made of thicker leather and is slightly smaller, making it feel heavier. Very happy with this purchase, quality leather, light on the ankles and the bag seems to last a lifetime. My only criticism is that the leather bottom and rubber hole (for inflation) at the bottom of the bag protrudes a few millimeters and sometimes pinches my knuckles. But that might be a problem with my newbies. Very happy with this purchase.
