This TONGWODE teeth whitening kit comes with 3 pens. The pens have a cap at the top that opens the brush when removed. At the bottom is a rotating element that pushes the bleaching compound into the brush. The mucus appears to ooze up on its own, possibly due to capillary action, but has not yet caused the disorder. I like brushes better than just an attachment of some kind as they essentially allow you to paint your teeth with a goop, which I think makes them more effective than usual due to a significant issue. Along with the handles, this set comes with a mouthpiece. There are some LEDs on the mouthpiece which I think help increase the effectiveness of the whitening gel. To power the LEDs there is a USB cable that can be connected to a computer or charger. This mouthpiece is made of relatively soft silicone and is comfortable in the mouth. The problem is that there is no way to shape the mouthpiece to fit my teeth. It's basically a one size fits all, which really means one size doesn't fit anyone. My teeth are naturally quite straight and even I have found that my teeth do not make good contact with the surface of this mouthpiece. So if you apply a goo to the mouthpiece itself, as the instructions suggest, the bleach won't be making enough contact with your teeth to be as effective as it should be. Painting mucus directly onto the teeth works better, but I think the shape of the mouthpiece still allows saliva to enter and remove the mucus. It would be better if the mouthpiece could be shaped to fit snugly around my teeth, keeping the bleach inside and not letting saliva through. I think this kit does something, but teeth whitening can be a slow process so I can't say for sure how effective it will be in the long run.
