I bought four packs and they are 50% cheaper than the big department stores. The lamp fits perfectly and appears to be working well. I thought it was too good to be true. I noticed some differences and took some pictures of my original and new one. In one picture the original is on the left and the new one is on the right. The original has a metal deflector in the middle. I find it helps to focus the light in the middle. The new one lacks that. You can see the original lightbulb shining brightly on my wall, the one on the right. The new bulb on the left, the light is very weak and diffuse. I doubt it's really 75W. Remember I've had the original for 8 years and hundreds of hours of light use and it's still brighter than new. I'm not joking. The new one only lasted a week! An old halogen lamp has thick electrodes. The new thin wires. One of the pictures shows a burned out lightbulb. Something must have exploded inside. It is covered with some blue unknown materials. This is likely a sign that the material is of poor quality or not sealed with halogen. Although it costs 50% less, it lasted a week, not years. This will be the most expensive lamp I have ever bought. Such a short life is unacceptable. It should have gotten 1 star but I gave it 2 stars because it didn't explode lol
