I love speckled products. I also had a dispute with some of their products. I bought this case in black satin finish. I always take good care of my MacBook. Even with extreme caution. The black satin staples began to crack and break off. As a result, the bottom fell off completely. Finally I decided to change the situation by buying a regular finishing case. This sleeve feels much better on a MacBook. The satin finish always leaves fingerprints on the case. The coating on this case appears to be oil resistant. It also seems to hold up much better than a saturating finish. So in my experience. Walk with a normal trim. Otherwise I had no problems. This is a great product that will make your Mac stand out.
