Review on 6-Inch Acrylic Hinge (5 Pack) - Durable Acryl-Hinge by Jason Hutchinson

(I have 5 pieces 6 inch hinges) They are perfect for attaching two pieces of fish tank mesh covers (aluminum frame). The aquarium measures 24 inches wide by 48 inches long, each piece of lid measures 12 inches by 48 inches and I attached them in the center. I used 4 loops that work great. The lid is so light that I could do with three hinges. . The hinges open and close very, very smoothly and I don't have to worry about them getting wet, rusty, discolored or getting into the aquarium water. The hinge is fully foldable, allowing me to open the lid from either side. and lay it perfectly flat on top of the other half. Lid. Facilitates feeding, maintenance and cleaning. They are easy to stick to the lightweight aluminum frame with hot glue or silicone glue. Silicone ensures a more permanent attachment, a pair of small hot glue dots on the ea. and, if necessary, also remove and move the loop. I would highly recommend these versatile, easy to use, waterproof hinges! One note: if I had to redo I would use black acrylic hinges, they would better match the dark frame of the aquarium lid. These "transparent" colors are not fully transparent and do not blend well with dark colors. However, they are excellent for this purpose and the color is just a matter of aesthetics and personal taste.
