No oil topping required - ready to go, up and running in minutes

Another reviewer stated that oil needed topping up, mine didn't. It was packaged well (despite weighing around 70lbs, the packaging wasn't damaged, it was in good condition) and all I had to do was remove the plastic shipping clip (see the black plastic item in the photo) , and that's it was nice. One thing to note, don't be an idiot like me. I didn't screw in the screw that secures the jack handle (you'll see when you get it, foam side down to protect the car, knurled part of the handle up to hold on to), so my handle came after that out The jack was placed under the car. Part of the handle goes into the quill so I had to paint to get the handle back but I figured it out in the end. Definitely don't do it. Otherwise I wouldn't have any leaks, it's reliable and works great. With no load, it increases rapidly. After about 3-4 swings the jack touched my car. It took about 20 more half pumps (I buried the jack under the car and couldn't get full travel) to then raise my car 4 or 6 inches to put stands underneath. It's heavy (70 pounds again). or something) but turns well, and you can even use a long handle to move it side-to-side (against the direction of the wheels) a bit to fine-tune placement under the car if needed. Thus it is heavy but not too heavy to be handled by hand. Overall the design looks great. All metal, finish looks good, no plastic, nothing loose or adjustment needed - it shipped out of the box and under the car in just minutes.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Minor issues
