I've only used them once so far but was impressed with the tougher/sticky/elderly stains (4+ kids, husky, german shepherd and male friend yes it gets messy) that just doing it gets rid of them could stay on the spots a little longer. I was fully expecting to have to return to these places with a rag and elbow grease, so that won me over. The pads spin slower than you'd like, so you'll need to move a little slower for this to be effective. I also figured I would have to rinse the pads multiple times, especially considering how dirty the floors are, and I only rinsed once and probably didn't need to. I used this on about 800 square feet.
