Review on 💻 YIOVVOM DB9 Breakout Connector with RS232 D-SUB Female and Male Serial Port Breakout Board - Solder-Free Module + Case by Donald Vargas

I needed to create a custom mini din cable for a DB9 serial port for a project I was working on. This little adapter made it easy for me to create a "standard" DB9 end for easy connection to my PC. I cut an old mini din cable, crimped a couple of spade lugs onto separate wires, then connected them to the adapter's screw terminals. Everything worked great. My only complaint is that the terminal screws are not threaded properly - they are threaded too long so the screws don't "snap" into the adapter like any other standard clamp connector. Otherwise I have no complaints. I would recommend them to everyone.
