I connected this webcam to my laptop and it was recognized immediately. It fits perfectly on my monitor with a clear indication of its working status (green light means camera is on, red light means device is on). It has a wide-angle lens that's great for video chatting. I quickly tested it with the Windows 10 Camera app and was immediately amazed by the image quality - very detailed, with good color reproduction and no fisheye distortion. Also, the microphone really works! I joined the Zoom workout and clicked on the camera to capture the red line crossing it and I was there. The microphone worked by default. It was easy to mute and unmute the sound. Excellent purchase!
