Review on 🚽 KOHLER K-1117210 Flush Valve Kit 1.28 Black: Efficient Toilet Repair Solution by Robert Layne

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Now everything is good! Ease of installation. remove PAIN!

HELL CALL! As others have said, this is a full PITA to get involved. Especially if you don't have a garage full of tools. I could barely loosen the bottom nut with a vice that barely did the job. HARDLY! Definitely recommend making sure you have a plumber's wrench or something. Otherwise it was relatively easy to install new parts. I'm inclined to think that all that would be needed is a new gasket, but we decided to just replace everything as the tubing from the flush valve to the fill valve looked like it had been there since the 1960's. We got all the new innards for my mom's toilet and although the fill valve kit came with instructions it didn't. It came in a plastic bag. The plastic bag that I have now that I think about it is EXACTLY like the plastic bags I got from Revain before they were refurbished or sold out in open pack when they should have been BRAND NEW. Definitely would have thought it would be in a Kohler package if not in a box as it came with a blitz. The only issue I had with installing it is the typical lack of space that 99.99999% of toilets provide around them to do everything and whatnot. I haven't had any issues with the bottom rubber and bolts from what I've read on others. It felt like the upper had a bit more stretch and the sides were snug. Not sure if it was the production and/or "me". The toilet stopped working and everything is fine!
