This is my second Umidigi phone. I switched from the A7 Pro to the Bison Pro which still performs the same as the day it was delivered. It will go through life as my 8 year old's phone. I've decided to buy a new Bison Pro for the NFC/Google Pay features, which I've been missing since my Pixel 2 died long ago. It is also waterproof and has a more durable construction. I'm not sure I like the fingerprint sensor on the left side of the phone but I'll look into it, overall I'm happy with the upgrade. These phones are great value, the Bison is very fast and rivals the big flagship phones that cost almost 10x more. It has a massive amount of storage (8GB) and storage (128GB) so you can download the entire App Store and leave room for photos, then add a 128GB SD card and do it again. Battery life is excellent and device support is second to none. My A7 Pro had some issues after the update. To my surprise, the factory ROMs are available on the UMIDIGI community support forum along with additional tools you will need if you plan to get the phone working. Unfortunately, these phones do not work with major US carriers (ATT), but I believe some of these emerging carriers are adding support for UMIDIGI phones, especially Mint phones. If your carrier supports the phone, the mobile connectivity is great, albeit limited to 4G, but I didn't see a huge difference in speed compared to my wife's Galaxy S10 5G. The Bison is heavier as it is designed as a rugged phone.
