Louder than IVADM10

This unit is DEFINITELY louder than the smaller IVADM10. I decided to purchase it after reading that it uses the same "quiet Peltier" technology, and I'm disappointed that it sounds at least twice as loud as the smaller unit to me. I chose it to replace the IVADM10 in my bedroom so I don't have to empty the tank as often, but now I feel like I have to turn it off every night. If you like white noise, this is the car for you! It's definitely not noisy or noisy, and likely quiet given its size. just not as quiet as the smaller device. The smaller unit worked well to get the moisture and musty smell out of my room, allowing me to go back and live there just by emptying it every 4-5 days.
